This includes planning technology roadmaps, and configuring and optimizing all networking systems and services* Project management and participation* Support existing Cisco infrastructure to facilitate daily operations as necessary. Act as primary or escalation contact as appropriate.* Recommend new technology by attending seminars, learning about industry trends, or through hands-on experimentation that would benefit managed companies* Although the primary focus of this position is to implement and support networking installations, the candidate may also be tasked with general support and projects which may include security, routing, switching and other network related duties.* Other duties as assigned, to include on-call rotation and travelWhat you'll Need:* College degree preferred* Preferred Certifications:* Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)* 7+ years experience - Enterprise level network support and design* 3+ years experience - Enterprise level telephony support and design* Advanced knowledge of Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) management and configuration principles* Advanced knowledge of Cisco Networking hardware, IOS and NX-OS* Advanced knowledge of networks, security guidelines and industry "best practices"* Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware devices, specifically Cisco routers and switches* Experience in designing and documenting networks from the ground up* Experience configuring and supporting firewalls, including rule creation and modification, Checkpoint preferred* Experience configuring and supporting load balancers, Citrix Netscaler preferred* Experience configuring and deploying SD-WAN solutions, Silver Peak preferred* Experience with QOS on Cisco routers, and voice technologies* Experience with Cisco IPT Phone Systems & Cisco Unified Call Center Express platform* Experience with Meraki MX technologies a plus* Experience with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds* Experience with ticketing software, ServiceNow preferred* Experience working with equipment vendors toward resolution of issues* Ability to successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) Company or Facility background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screening
