Premier Charter School is seeking dynamic teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. Premier Charter School is a public charter school in the city of Saint Louis that serves students from Pre-Kindergarten-8th grades. The first charter school operating in the city of St. Louis, Premier Charter School is focused on building both a strong academic foundation and the social-emotional skills needed for students to succeed in high school and beyond. At PCS, we develop curious and empowered learners through whole child development and research-based practices such as Project-Based Learning.

• National School of Character -We are the first charter school in the St. Louis area to be designated as both a state and national school of character.
• Diverse community of students - We currently serve students who reside in 27 of the 29 zip codes in the city of Saint Louis. Languages spoken by our students include Albanian, Arabic, Bosnian, Chinese, English, French, Italian, Lao, Oromo, Polish, Somali, Spanish, Thai, Tigrinya, Vietnamese, Yoruba and more!

    Requirements:We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated teacher to join our team. As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will be expected to have the following qualifications:
    Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field- State teaching certification- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members- Strong organizational and time management skills- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success
    Responsibilities:- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development- Use a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to meet the needs of all learners- Assess student learning and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or questions- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
