Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize the
accounts payable operations within our client's organization. This
role will oversee a team of 6 direct reports and report directly to
the Controller, ensuring efficient and accurate financial
processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills
and expertise in accounts payable functions, along with a passion
for driving organizational excellence. Responsibilities: • Manage
the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing,
coding, and payment issuance. • Supervise and mentor a team of 6
direct reports to ensure high performance and attention to detail
in their development. • Oversee vendor management processes,
including maintaining positive relationships and resolving
discrepancies. • Ensure timely and accurate execution of check runs
and other payment transactions. • Develop and implement process
improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within accounts
payable operations. • Collaborate with the Controller to align
accounts payable functions with overall financial strategies. •
Monitor accounts payable metrics and generate reports to track
performance and identify areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance
with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. •
Address and resolve escalated issues related to accounts payable
and vendor communications. • Maintain accurate and organized
financial records for auditing and reporting purposes. • Minimum of
3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial
management role. • Proven expertise in invoice coding, check runs,
and payment processing. • Strong leadership skills with the ability
to manage and develop a team effectively. • Excellent
organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple
priorities. • Proficiency in vendor management and resolving
payment discrepancies. • Solid understanding of financial
regulations and compliance standards. • Exceptional analytical and
problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills for
collaborating across teams and with external vendors.
