As a Senior Analyst, Commercial Strategy, you'll use your analytical skills to creatively solve problems and directly impact commercial and pricing strategy. You'll drive the organization's core business segments through the development of complex models, strategic initiatives, processes, reporting, and tools. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Assist in development and implementation of Commercial Strategies for the Pricing Organization
• Proactively formulate new commercial and pricing initiatives to drive company results
• Coordinate cross functionally to develop tools and establish best practices
• Support the Pricing Organization with advanced analytical processes and models
• Execute, evaluate and report success of various initiatives to the senior leadership team
• Conduct analyses under different pricing scenarios to compare net results
• Root Cause analysisWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to derive insight from data, formulate solutions, and drive action
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of a large organization
  • Ability to use, evaluate, and contribute to computer-generated decision support models
  • Experience with data mining using business intelligence software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft OfficeIt'd be great if you also have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics
    • Master's degree
    • 5 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis and Less Than Truckload (LTL) pricing/cost modeling
    • Project Management experience
    • Experience with SQL
    • Working knowledge of statistics and statistical packages in Python, R or similar

      Colorado annual salary range: $74,792 to $93,490
      New York annual salary range: $78,354 to $97,942California annual salary range: $81,915 to $102,394
