The leading global Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner is looking for an Accountant, and this position will be based in US.
Main Mission
Responsible for the accountancy of suppliers, customers and banks
Main Activities
Accounts Payables
Supplier invoice processing: approval, reconciliation, follow-up and payment
Accounts Receivables
Work in collaboration with Business operation department and sales team for outstanding AR collection
Back-up for daily bank reconciliation and update customer payment status in Xero and Ostinato (internal tool)
Bank
Once a week, check the cash-forecast file and ask for cash if needed
Be the back-up for bi-monthly supplier payments
General accounting
Participate to the month end closing on tasks written on the financial dashboard (book accruals, prepaid, work on cut off sales...)
Book payroll entry
Request intercompany reinvoicing
Prepare journal entries and Balance Sheet account reconciliation
Tax
Prepare sales tax filing for US and Canada
Reconcile tax payments
Year End Closing
Provide documents requested by auditors or CPA
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of financial accounting experience
Experience with US and Canada tax and accounting is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Detail-oriented
Education Level & Diploma
University degree in Accounting, Finance
CPA designation or working towards it is an asset
