days) to receive an alert: As the Risk Insurance and Credit
Manager, you will be responsible for providing credit and insurance
program oversight to all ICL North American businesses. Position
will be responsible for complete credit and collection management,
as well as placement and servicing of the ICL North America's
commercial insurance programs.I'm interested! What will I get to do
in this position? -
--- Responsible for overseeing the daily credit team's efforts at
establishing credit and working with our trade credit insurer at
meeting the business' credit needs for our NA customers. -
--- Perform risk assessments and make determinations regarding the
creditworthiness of new and existing customers, in accordance with
the credit management policies.
--- Oversee the collections of accounts receivable in a timely
manner to maximize cash flow.
--- Evaluate customers purchasing patterns against their credit
limits to ensure we are not overextending customer's credit.
--- Administer and follow the global credit policies instituted by
our parent company.
--- Work with our credit insurer to ensure bad debts are reported
timely and that claims are processed in accordance with our
policy's terms and conditions.
--- Evaluate financial statements, review financial reports from
external agencies and run compliance checks for new customers and
--- Run reports for SOX Compliance requirements, internal audit,
securitization program, business teams, etc.
--- Provide backup to the Finance team as needed. -Insurance:
--- Manage both local and global policies that cover ICL's US
risks. These policies include, but are not limited to, workers
compensation, auto liability, general liability, pollution
liability, property insurance, marine cargo, fiduciary liability,
employment practice liability, business travel insurance, D&O
insurance, crime, cyber, etc. -
--- Procure, prepare, and submit renewal data to HQ and our
insurance brokers for policy renewals.
--- Serve as a coverage advisory colleague to key business leaders
for potential insurable events.
--- Understand and interpret complex and robust global insurance
programs, which may include high deductibles, self-insured
retentions, and the use of captives. -
--- Work closely with the Legal team to review and interpret
insurance language in contracts/agreements to mitigate risks to
--- Set and maintain ICL's standard insurance requirements for
--- Participate in risk engineering surveys at the various ICL US
--- Other duties and support to the businesses as needed.What
skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? ----
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required.
--- 5+ years' experience in commercial credit and/or insurance/risk
--- The capability of understanding and analyzing financial,
business, and market data for credit risk assessments required as
well as commercial insurance programs.
--- Ability to interact with both internal and external customers
in a professional manner required.
--- Excellent communication, including written and oral
presentation skills required.
--- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities required.
--- Proficiency in SAP, Word, and Excel required.
--- Ability to work in a face-paced, transactional environment.

Salary Range: -$85K - $158K/year
