We are seeking multiple highly motivated Sr. Governance Consultant: Policy, Controls, Procedures to join our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team. In this role you will support risk, audit, and compliance activities within the EPM Center of Excellence including policy management, process and procedural documentation, internal controls design, testing and validation, and evidencing strategies.

This role offers a seasoned compliance specialist, HR auditor, or HR professional, the opportunity to work in a fast paced, collaborative team, leading and executing high priority work efforts across Enterprise Performance Management. -Incumbents will develop, support and sustain strong risk and control processes and procedures and partner collaboratively with performance management and compensation subject matter experts, as well as Legal, Risk, and Audit.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as a front-line risk contact for EPM by engaging in discussions with partners on strategy, industry trends, organizational changes, new processes, systems, vendors, projects and services to determine impact and identify and remediate risk issues across all risk types.
Provide ongoing monitoring and assessment of the control environment and support the development of a strong risk and control culture across EPM.
Collaborate with partners on control design and implementation to mitigate all risk types.
Support ongoing work to revise and enhance the performance management policy, including relevant enterprise standards and procedures.
Design and develop strategies to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls.
Oversee PM policy, procedures, controls, and evidencing, ensuring and monitoring compliance.
Ensure process controls used to mitigate risk are properly designed and executed.
Manage internal team procedural documents and recommend process improvements as needed including strategic automation enhancements.
Provide compliance and regulatory guidance and support across the performance management platform including consultation in the development and management of corrective action plans.
Design solutions and define process changes based on regulations and business applicability.
Maintain knowledge and awareness of regulatory requirements to provide forward-thinking guidance on compliance matters.
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
Support additional compliance initiatives as necessary, including audit and regulator readiness and remediation efforts.
Support the development of a strong risk and control culture within the group.
Champion and promote change within the organization, specifically in alignment with enterprise-wide operational and process improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain process guides, templates, and job aids for aligned policies and programs.
Position is equivalent to an internal Wells Fargo Job Code of Business Initiatives Consultant 3.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

Desired Qualifications
A BS/BA degree or higher
5+ years of compliance experience
Experience reviewing testing strategies and methodologies; evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls; and identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations
Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Knowledge and understanding of compliance or operational risk
Knowledge and understanding of human resources policies and processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Military intelligence or analytics experience including operational management, project management, mission evolution management and finance management
Proven experience with conducting risk and process assessments
Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
1+ years of HR systems experience (e.g. PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday)
Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions

Other Desired Qualifications
Meaningful knowledge across the enterprise risk management framework, including risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance
Risk, Audit, Control Testing or Human Resources experience
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders, stakeholders and regulators
Deep understanding of ever-evolving governance processes and regulatory environments
Experience planning and organizing cross functional work, building teams, and managing stakeholder groups to drive complex, high-priority efforts through to completion

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
AZ-PHX-Northwest Phoenix: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
AZ-Chandler: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
TX-San Antonio: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
GA-Atlanta: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
TX-DAL-Downtown Dallas: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
CO-Denver: Min: $94,500 Mid: $135,000
