Wells Fargo Securities - Operations and Transaction Monitoring Financial Crimes Compliance team has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crimes Officer position. -This position will be responsible for all aspects of the BSA/AML Program for Wells Fargo Securities. -The position will maintain, develop and create procedures, manage monitoring & surveillance efforts and work on projects as needed. -The position will report directly to the hiring manager and work in parallel with the operational risk, compliance and Wells Fargo Securities -AML teams to ensure procedures and processes related to regulatory compliance are appropriate, risk-based, and adequately followed.
A successful candidate will have a willingness to learn and research regulatory AML requirements, corporate AML policies, and Wells Fargo Securities business group processes. -Furthermore, this individual must have effective organizational, communication and partnering skills.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining BSA/AML procedures
Developing comprehensive and LOB-specific AML Training
Creating clear and concise communications
Review and enhance Wells Fargo Securities monitoring & surveillance
Partner with both business, operational risk, compliance and AML team members to mitigate regulatory compliance risk
Assist as needed with examinations and/or audits
Help coordinate regulatory or corporate policy changes and/or impacts to the Regulatory changes
Manage projects as needed

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 10+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 7+ years must include direct experience in risk management

Desired Qualifications
Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) experience
Knowledge and understanding of foreign exchange (FX) operations
Foreign exchange experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Experience managing a pipeline of work from assignment to completion
Ability to manage projects or programs including active and pipeline projects for adherence to enterprise guidelines
Ability to escalate issues
Ability to research, analyze, document, and present organizational metrics that drive business decisions
Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data, diagnosing opportunities, and providing interventions
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Experience with process mapping tools such as Tibco, Visio, Visio Pro, iGrafx or IBM Blueworks Live
Knowledge and understanding of process flow or procedure writing
