Job Description:

Aston Carter is looking for a bilingual accountant for a client in the St Louis area.Description:The Account Payable Specialist will perform accounting and administrative tasks for the maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions Process and mange invoices in the online AP workflow system. Route invoices to appropriate personal for review and coding. Concur administrator (user updates, trouble shooting, process payments) COR360 (online workflow system) Administrator & project coordinator American Express Administrator (BTA, P Card, Individual Card) Prepare journal entries (Amex cards, Concur, others as needed) Resolve system errors (in BPCS & JDE) Follows up on outstanding items in workflow to ensure timely processing. Assist with applying GL coding. Follow up on vendor account statements and reconcile discrepancies. Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Follow up on pending debit/credit memos. Help with managing the Accounts payable inbox and help to ensure timely follow up with vendors regarding invoice inquiry and payment status. Able to provide correction and follow up on items delegated to the AP exception state and correct and Route accordingly. Maintains historical records by ensuring proper back up is provided to support all payment requests. Assist with close processes and month-end invoice accruals. Act as back up on paymentsSkills:Three way matching, Payable, Purchase order, Accounts payable, JDE, bpcsTop Skills Details:Accounts Payable JDEBilingual in SpanishAdditional Skills & Qualifications:

• Min 2 years exp
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred
• Bilingual Spanish and English
• Understanding of basic accounting controls and best practices and the 3 way PO match requirements. Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Understanding of sales and use tax, Canadian VAT tax. Detailed oriented and able to multi task. Working with experience with BPCS and JDE a plus
• Experience with T&E processing and Concur system a plus
